WordPress is the absolute best publishing platform on the web. It’s so easy to use. I can add themes and plugins to extend the software.
The meetup was at Chaat Cafe at 3rd and Folsom in San Francisco. They have pretty damn good Indian food.
I got to meet some new bloggers too. Podango CEO Lee Gibbons (second from the left below) stopped by.
I have to say though, getting a WordPress shirt for free was my favorite part of this event 
It’s cool to see these new media evangelists all gather in one place. Everybody takes out their laptop, and geeks out. I met Andrew Sutherland, a high school senior who has his own startup called Quizlet. It looks really good too.
I am just amazed, and I kinda feel old now because I used to be the youngest tech geek.
