Zivity: For models and photographers

Zivity - merkley???

The first time I heard of Zivity, I was skimming the demos of TechCrunch 40.

I finally got an invite about a month ago, and I have yet to be disappointed. Think of Zivity as a social network for models and photographers to exchange resources. As a regular user on the site, you have the opportunity to rate the models with votes (costing $1 each).

For someone who enjoys looking at beautiful women and really good photography, I can see this being a popular site. You can also make friends with both models and photographers.

Zivity

This type of network doesn’t really exist on the web right now, and I think this site will be a success.

I had the chance to meet Pearl at The Crunchies, and talk with some more of the Zivity folks. It kinda looked like they were running the show with professional photographers and models posing with fans. They made me dress up like a farmer.

The fact that no one is imposing their ideas of beauty onto the work I’m doing frees up my own expression and exploration. I love exploring the fine line between pinup and fashion photography. I love creating beauty, and documenting a moment in time that represents my mood, body, and taste.

The part of getting paid is basically incentive to do this work that I wanted to be doing anyway. And the voting system keeps thing
