I hate to say this… but Microsoft has better online mapping software than Google. Yesterday, they introduced Virtual Earth 3D, an application that takes photographic images of cities and terrain to generate textured, photo-realistic 3D models with engineering level accuracy.
The ultimate test is to find a clear picture of Blacksburg on the map. Google Maps won’t even let you get this close, let alone make out the pathways on the Drillfield. Check out Microsoft’s new toy: http://local.live.com.
