CNET’s podcast of indeterminate length is a lot more fun live. Besides the fact that I don’t have to wait for Jason to post the mp3 file, I can follow a chatroom of commentary that expands on the topics being discussed. If I stick around until after the recording is over, maybe I can come up with a clever show title too.
This is my favorite type of media today. Imagine watching all of your favorite TV shows live with a chat room on the side. It may sound overwhelming, but you can interact as much or as little as you want.

Live podcasting is the new black
As I was watching Buzz Out Loud today, I felt eerily comfortable interacting with a podcast.
Maybe it’s because I was watching Leo Laporte for six hours straight yesterday.
