Frank Beamer’s herd made it out alive. On the Hokies winning drive, as Branden Ore strolled into the end zone, every soul in every living room in Blacksburg could relax.
If you are a die-hard Hokie fan, you might be thinking that our team looked scrappy. Ore only had 77 yards, but Miami doesn’t allow anyone to rush for 100 yards against them. Glennon didn’t really make any mistakes… so why didn’t we cream the Hurricanes by a bigger margin?
Then again, Maryland beat Clemson with a game winning field goal yesterday. Anyway, it was a fun game to watch, and I hope we win out.
