Death is always tough, mentally, emotionally, and physically on those of us who are left in this world. THe word of God says to let the dead bury the dead. So please grieve, and remember those who "graduated to the next life." But don't feel sorry for them, they are in one of two places. In Heaven with my Father, and the Son of Man for those who chose Jesus Christ as Lord and savior before their death. The ones who did not chose Christ, are perishing. Our day are numbered before we are even born, God is the Creator, of all. But don't take my word as truth! Seek GOD for yourself, and seek THE Truth. There are many things a person can believe in, but there is One God, and one Revelation, yet countless Theologies. Don't take other people's word as True. My heart goes out to all people involved including the gunman. I pray that anyone involved in this Tragedy, not allow this to be in Vain. Satan wants us to believe that he doesn't exist. But look around, satan is running this earth, until Jesus comes back. (read God's word for that truth, Revelation). We must condition our minds for righteousness, love, suffering, patience, and God's chastening! People, please believe satan desires an Everlasting agony, much worse than what occured on the VT campus. Fight the good fight of faith and learn, grow from this Tragedy. Suffering breeds discipline. I pray that God will change the hearts of men, and that we shall concentrate on more Important issues, which do not include living a lavish, comfortable life, while we ignore the real tragedys on the other side of the tracks, the river, the fence, and even the ocean.

Andrew --

My name is Brock Meeks and I'm with a community journalism site called "Now Public."

This isn't your ordinary news organization; it is driven by the users, through the community at large. And we need your help.

The tragedy today on campus is, of course, mind numbing. We'd like to hear from you was like in those early moments; what it is like now. How were you feeling? Did you see or hear anything? Where were you when you heard?

Don't worry about writing a "news story" just give us YOUR story. 100 words; 200 words, 500 or more. As much or as little as you'd like. We just want to hear from those that were there; an unfiltered account.

If you could also pass this message to others that might want to share their insights, that would be appreciated.

Here's how to give us your insights:

Log on to: www.nowpublic.com in the upper right hand corner hit the tab that says "what's your story?" You'll have to sign on and create an account (a minor bother, I assure you). Then follow the easy screen directions to input your story. (if you're asked for a 'channel' file the report in "crime.")

Another way: just call us and give us an audio update. Nothing fancy, just state your name, that you're a student at VaTech and chat away. When done, just hang up the phone, you don't need to push any "send story" buttons.

Or, you can write back to me right here, in e-mail what you saw and heard and I'll file the story for you.

Or, you can give me a phone number to call (though the lines into Blacksburg are jammed right now) or you can call me on my cell phone (I'm in Fairfax, Va.) at: 703-989-3547.

I appreciate your time and we'd love to hear from you if you can spare a moment or two.

Thanks again,

Brock N Meeks
